I am Because You Are.

Ubuntu is a Zulu word from South Africa and is a philosophy and embodied practice shared by various tribes/languages in Southern Africa. The concept originated in Africa and speaks to a deep care for the self, others and the natural environment.

Inspired by some vibrant African voices, this growing community explores how Ubuntu can serve as a tool for reconciliation & global collaboration.

Curators of Year Of Ubuntu are Kholisani Ndlovu, Chenesai Mangoma, Moleen Madziva and Violeta Bulc.
